Description

The Eastron ES CT-T series of split core current transformers are designed for quick and easy installation. The split core design allows non-contact current measurements through magnetic field induction without requiring the primary wire to be disconnected from the line and disconnected for CT installation. This method allows for safer, easier and more portable current measurement. An internal precision load resistor on the secondary winding of the CT provides a safe low voltage output and allows safe opening of the secondary circuit.
